Home Delivery Subscriber Responsibilities

To provide a delivery space that is safe from pests and inclement weather. A cooler or storage bin on your porch or front step works best. Other methods of storage (such as a reusable bag) are ok, but your bread could fall victim to rain and/or squirrels. 

If you need to make a payment please leave cash or check in an envelope where our delivery person can find it (in the basket or storage bin). Our delivery person will knock or ring the bell to let you know that your order has arrived, but won’t be sticking around to chat (sorry - we have a schedule to stick to!)

Pick-Up Site Subscriber Responsibilities

All orders must be picked up by the time your pick-up site closes. You can contact us to ask for an exception but after closing time your items may be donated or turned into croutons. 

Automatic Recurring Payments

Upon subscribing, you choose a payment method and amount; $25, $50, or $100. Your account balance fills with this much credit. Credit is taken from your account per item delivered, charged at midnight on your day of delivery. When your account balance drops below zero, then another $25, $50, or $100 will automatically be pulled  from your bank account/credit/debit card. So no need to manage your payments, as they are automatically recurring.

When to change an upcoming order

Change an upcoming order between 6am on Sunday and Noon the day before your delivery:

  • For Tuesday delivery or pick-up: Online Store is open Sunday @ 6 am - Monday @ Noon

  • For Thursday delivery or pick up: Online Store is open Sunday @ 6 am - Wednesday @ Noon

  • For Saturday delivery: Online store is open Sunday @ 6 am - Friday @ Noon

Orders can’t be changed or cancelled after the cutoff time.

What is listed is what’s available. Be brave, try something new! And keep checking our online store for your favorites; we have rotating specials that change weekly and will be adding sweets and items from other local producers such as tea and coffee.

Refunds

If we screw up your order let us know. We’ll make it right or refund your money.

Cancel Subscription

Contact us to cancel your subscription after your last wanted delivery. We will refund any money remaining in your account. We require two days prior notice of your upcoming delivery.

FAQ

how does the online store work? how is that different from subscription?

When you sign up you choose a subscription. This is your default order that automatically fills your cart 6 days before your next delivery. 

Store orders are temporary changes and additions you can make each week. This is the simplest way to add or change an item for an upcoming order. Log in to view what’s in your cart, then click on store to add or change your items.

Do you deliver year-round?

Traditionally in the summertime we stop taking pre-orders in order to attend the Tuesday and Saturday farmers markets. This year is a little different with the coronavirus pandemic throwing a wrench in things. At this time we plan to continue baking for pre-order with option for delivery or pick-up. 

Can you slice my bread? 

Unfortunately we cannot slice bread for our customers. If you receive a still-warm loaf we recommend waiting (if you can!) an hour or so before slicing into it.

Can I put my subscription on hold when I go out of town? 

Yes. Contact us and we will walk you through it.
